The Fulbe Global Development and Right Initiative (FGDRI), said it is with heavy hearts and sorrow that it commensurate with the family of late Sarkin Gobir Alhaji Isa Bawan, who died at bandits/kidnappers den.
In a signed statement by its President General, Salim Musa Umar PhD, said the violations of the fundamental rights through abduction that led to the dead of the late paramount traditional ruler is condemnable in the strongest terms.
“It is with very heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we commiserate with the family of the late Sarkin Gobir Alhaji lsa Bawa which sad incident was said to have arisen from his abduction some weeks ago.
“We condemn in the strongest terms his abduction, denial of liberty, maltreatment and eventual death,” the Fulbe group said.
It stressed that no law abiding and peace-loving person will not cringe at the heinous crime perpetrated upon the highly respected monarch and indeed peace loving leader.
“We do not have a shred of doubt that Aljanna Firdaus is the abode of His Royal Highness, as he has returned to his maker sinless.
“We call on the security and law enforcement agencies to track and apprehend the perpetrators of the heinous act, and make them face the full wrath of the law. What they did is high crime and terrorism,” the Fulbe group urged
It said there should be no place for such crimes and terror in the society.
“We similarly call on the security and law enforcement agencies to utilize precise and pin-point intelligence towards eliminating the scourge of heinous violent crimes and terrorism.
“Our very heartfelt condolences go to the family of the late Sarkin Gobir, his family and subjects on this irreparable loss. Our condolences go to the Government and people of Sokoto State,” the Fulbe group mourned.
