As the year 2027 draws closer, all eyes are now on how best each prospective candidate of the various political groups set their agenda, framework for a final success, and of course the various elements and permutations of underground maneuvers are also put in place.
In the past 3 years, Jigawa state is facing a rapid and salient transformation in various aspects of human endeavors. Comparatively, the state is highly blessed with a leadership that is fully committed to the will of the people, and the hope for a better future for the citizens.
Recently, agricultural support equipment were launched and distributed to practicing farmers across the state to boost food production, as well as strengthen the value chain. The state chairman of the Amalgamated Farmers Association, Maiunguwa Idris Ya’u strongly commended the efforts of the governor, Mallam Umar A Namadi in all aspects. More than 250,000 farmers benefitted from the initiative, With strong indications that only valid and reliable farmers were targeted.
The initiative is a strategic agricultural support and booster to farmers and all groups and individuals in the system, in Jigawa state. This, recall is part of, and a core component of the 12-Point Agenda of Mallam Umar A Namadi. For those that believe in the good efforts of the government, we should uphold its virtues.
There are many initiatives such as that in education, Human Capital Development and Health that have witnessed some strong and viable changes in the lives of the people. The government may not be 100% on the desired pathway, but the successes and the benefits are undeniably clearly seen in the pathway to a greater Jigawa state.
Mallam Umar Namadi has stressed to all in government that the fear of Allah as well as the concerns of the citizens should always be the top priority in all policies and programs of the government. The pathway, (the route, track and deliberate actions) are well manifested – and geared towards achieving greater Jigawa state that will compete favorably with all states in Nigeria – in fact with higher credit pass marks.
The year 2027 is fast approaching, and politics and politicking have started in full gears, and the choice is now for the electorates to ascertain and determine what and who to cast votes for, and for what tangible factors and reasons.
In Jigawa state, tangible and clearly defined reasons abound to re-elect Mallam Umar A Namadi as the choice of the people, and the man of the masses. There may be some ineffectual elements in the government, but that not withstanding the governor is on his feet (up and doing) and has systematically become the caterpillar and bulldozer of politics in Nigeria. His great efforts are being recognized world over, and the need to support and sustain the tempo must be a collective responsibility of all citizens of Jigawa state – this is a clarion call that must not be ignored.
We must work as a united family with full spirit for successes, bearing in mind that any clog in the wheels of this great journey will be a clog to the individual and collective interests of Jigawa state.
Recently, there have been loud cries and hues in some quarters as to some of the trends of the government. But, a closer look at the details of the agitations suggests that the characters in the lead of all the ‘’bids’’ are but arrant agents of personal interests and more of disgruntled elements. For those who feel unhappy with the system, the doors are wide open for suggestions and recommendations, for effective treatment to any grey areas.
Recall, all factors being equal, the end benefits are for all.
The year 2027 is close by, and the need to address our inherent and inherited challenges demand collective and inclusive efforts without distinction of tribe, social, economic or even political background. Working for good is working for success, and we hope and pray that Mallam Umar Namadi will continue to avail Jigawa state his mental and spiritual acumen and sagacity. This, will be the best and for all, if all efforts are geared towards our common goals and interests.
The octopuses have had another meeting in Kano recently planning and crafting how best to make a political score in 2027. They have for greed, not agreed on a common single point.
