DUTSE — In a significant boost to the 2027 presidential ambition of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Waziri Adamawa), the National leadership of the Waziri Mobilization Network (WMN) has formally inaugurated its Jigawa State chapter, activating a statewide grassroots political machinery aimed at deepening support for the former Vice President ahead of the next general election.
The inauguration, held on Saturday at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) State Campaign Secretariat, TrueRann Place, Dutse, marked the official rollout of the network’s state and senatorial district leadership structure, underscoring its resolve to consolidate ward-level mobilisation across Jigawa.
The newly inaugurated state executive comprises Muhammed Kamilu as State Coordinator, Haruna Sale Gumel as State Secretary, Aliyu Yunusa Ringim as State Youth Leader, Mohammad Deni Hadejia as State Publicity Secretary and Mariya Usman Kazaure as State Women Leader.
Also sworn in were Sanusi Muhammad Farno, Engr. Kabir Musa Ringim and Kabir Muhammad Sani as Coordinators for the Jigawa South-West, North-West and North-East Senatorial Districts, respectively.
Addressing the gathering, the National Secretary of the Waziri Mobilization Network, Tahir Mu’azu Turaki, described the organisation as a formidable grassroots political mobilisation platform operating under the national leadership of elder statesman Hon. Ali Gidado Idris.
He said the movement was strategically established to galvanise nationwide support for the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria’s President in 2027 through sustained grassroots engagement, civic education and broad-based political participation.
According to him, the network’s operational blueprint revolves around ward-based political organisation, youth mobilisation, voter registration advocacy, civic enlightenment and the promotion of peaceful democratic participation as critical pillars for electoral success.
In his goodwill message, Alhaji Yakubu Nakudu challenged ADC members and supporters across Jigawa State to remain vigilant, disciplined, loyal and unwavering throughout the electoral cycle, stressing that victory at the polls must be complemented by the protection of every valid vote.
Echoing the campaign slogan, he urged supporters to ensure that “every vote is cast, protected, defended, escorted, monitored and officially declared,” insisting that effective vote protection would be decisive in determining the party’s fortunes in 2027.
Also speaking at the event were the ADC State Deputy Chairman, Comrade Nuraddeen Jidawa; the State Women Leader, Hajiya Basira Yahaya Babura; and party elder Alhaji Sani Abdu Jigawa.
In separate remarks, the speakers described the 2027 general election as a defining national moment, arguing that electing the ADC represents a patriotic mission to reverse Nigeria’s worsening economic hardship, insecurity and social challenges. They called on Nigerians to embrace sacrifice, unity and collective resolve in the quest to enthrone accountable leadership and national renewal.
