The Forum for Retired Administrators and Principal Officers (F-RAPO) in Jigawa State has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the administration of Governor Umar Namadi following what it described as a successful introductory visit to the governor and its first inaugural general meeting.
The forum, in a statement signed by its Protem Leader, Gambo Muaz, said the meeting, held at the Government House, Dutse, on July 29, 2026, marked the beginning of a new chapter for retired administrators and principal officers in the state.

According to the statement, Governor Namadi received members warmly and commended the forum for its unity, wealth of experience and commitment to the development of Jigawa State.
The forum also appreciated the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Garba MK, and other stakeholders who attended the event, saying their presence further strengthened the relationship between the forum and the APC-led government.
F-RAPO noted that the large turnout of members, their discipline and active participation demonstrated their loyalty to the ruling party and readiness to contribute to the state’s development.
“The successful visit is only the beginning of our new journey. The task ahead requires sustained unity, wisdom and active participation from every member,” the statement said.

It urged members to remain united and committed to promoting the ideals of the APC while supporting the development agenda of the Jigawa State Government.
The forum also commended its Emirate Coordinators for mobilising members across the state, saying their efforts contributed significantly to the success of the meeting.
