HOTPEN – The death of a retired Kazaure born Airforce Senior Officer, AVM Ishak AbdurRahaman Amaryawa has been reported.
In a statement signed by Air Cdre SA Zakari fdc (rtd) and obtained by Hotpen said “It is with heavy heart and absolute submission to the will of Allah that painfully, the demise of AVM Ishak Abdulrahman (rtd) is announced.”
AVM Ishak died at the age of 76 on Sunday 16th October, 2022 at NAF Hospital Kano.
The Air Officer who was also a large scale farmer cum philanthropist, was equally a member of 6th Regular Combatant Course NDA, SO1 Ground Training HQ NAF, DS, CI, PSO Log and D Air CSC, all at Jaji.
He was a fellow of War College Nigeria, and a graduate of the Royal College of Defense Studies UK as well as a Diplomat too.
AVM Amaryawa, was an AOA HQ NAF, and he retired from the NAF as an AVM and Dy Commandant NDA in 2003.
He lived in his farm house, Amaryawa Farms Dawakin Kudu and owner of the famous recreation, center Hills and Valleys Resort as well as Hotel Admiral Zinder Republic of Niger.
The late AVM was a Super Mentor and a guardian of many people. He will be remembered for his generous guidance and mentorship.
Late AVM Amaryawa is survived by his aged mother, wives and children as well as grand children.
He was turbanned as Garkuwan Kazaure by the Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu for his contributions to the development of Kazaure emirate, Jigawa state and Nigeria at large.
His funeral prayers will be announced soon by his family members.
