HOTPEN – Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara state has expressed shock over the demise of the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Ahmed Sani Kaura who suddenly died last Wednesday.
In the statements by the Commissioner of Information and the state APC Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Magaji Dosara and Malam Yusuf Idris respectively, said the sudden death of late Ahmed Sani Kaura was monumental, not only to his immediate family, Kaura Namoda Emirate and the PDP, but also to the entire people of Zamfara state.
The two statements explained that, especially considering the life well spent by the political guru, who always preached peace and harmony wherever he found himself in any political gatherings.
According to them, the late PDP Chairman who had been a true democrat and always believed in his political principles and ideology will always be remembered for his dogedness, intergrity and high sense of responsibility.
“The Governor therefore, on behalf of his family, government and good people of Zamfara state condole the family of late Ahmed Sani Kaura, Kaura Namoda Emirate, the state PDP Community and the National Headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, over this great loss.
“Surely, the Chairman left a vacuum that will be very hard to fill in the near feature.
May the Almighty God grant his soul eternal peace and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparrable loss”, the statement has added.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Zamfara, the Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani in a statement, extended their heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family members of late Hon. Ahmed Sani Kaura, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
His death as according to the statement, has however came while the late PDP Chairman was working towards building peace in the midst of Islamic scholars, “We therefore pray Allah to reward him in abundance and grant him eternal rest in Jannatu Firdaus”.
