The Federal College of Education, Katsina, has introduced 12 additional courses starting from 2021 academic sessions.
The provost of the college, Dr Aliyu Idris Funtua, stated this in an interview with Katsina Post said the additional courses are aimed at creating more learning opportunities for students in Katsina and beyond.
The provost said that the institution had keyed into the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), reforms by ensuring that the courses were accredited.
Dr. Idris hinted that effort is on the way for the introduction of additional three undergraduate courses in the institution in affiliation with Bayero University Kano.
The 12 additional NCE courses include; Economics /Geography, Economics /English, Economics/Islamic Studies, Economics/History, Economics/Social Studies, History/Hausa, History/Islamic Studies, History/SOS, History/CRS, Geography/English, Geography/CRS, Geography/Islamic Studies.
