The Management of Kano State Science and Technical Schools Board has expressed its determination to continue supporting the activities of the All Nigerian Conference of Principals and Senior Staff (ANCOPSS).
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Ahmad Tijjani Abdullahi made the expression while receiving the newly elected executive members of the board’s Chapter of the association who visited his office.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Kano by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Ahmad Tijjani described the relationship between the board management and association as a cordial emphasized the need for more cooperation from them with a view to having a hitch free implementation of government policies said their role in achieving this will never be under estimated, added that the board is always regards them as one of prime stakeholders in governing the affairs of the board.
The executive chairman in the statement enjoined the newly elected executive members to exhibit the spirit of God fearing in discharging their responsibility, consolidate on the achievements of their predecessors, as well as expanding their boundaries within the ambit of law in discharging their duties so as to move the association to a greater height.
Earlier, the newly elected chairman of ANCOPSS Science and Technical Schools Board Chapter, Malam Sani Wada explained that they were in the board to introduce themselves to the Executive Secretary as Newly EXCO of the association, to seek his fatherly advice, as well as to acknowledge their appreciation to his continued support given to them which said helped in no small way in making the Science and Technical Schools Board chapter to be well placed in State, Regional, and National levels of the ANCOPSS.
He pledged that the association will maintain the spirit of giving due cooperation to the Management of Science and Technical Schools Board as accorded by the immediate past EXCO under Malam Lawan Sunusi towards sustaining the achievements so far being recorded by the board in provision of qualitative scientific and technical education to the students.
