The Atyap Community Development Association, (ACDA) has requested Kaduna state government to provide more troops to Southern part of Kaduna state to curb the arm bandits from carrying out attacks to various communities as well as provide the affected communities with humanitarian relief materials.
The National President of Atyap, Comrade Samuel T. Achie made known at a press conference in Kaduna, said “All schools in the area were closed down, hence our children can no longer go to school, therefore creating a humanitarian crisis for all the displaced people in the land which in turns create an urgent need for Internally Displaced person,(IDP) camp to cater for those that have been left at the mercy of the weather both in rain and sunshine, without any roof on their heads since the renewed persistent attacks.
He therefore mentioned some communities that witnessed series of attacks as follows, Matyei, Magamiya, and Abuyap communities which he said are all only 3 kilometers from military checkpoint in Zangon Kataf and Samaru Kataf,
They also asked the state government to provide more troops, humanitarian relief materials and make peaceful atmosphere for all in the state.
