The Zamfara State Community and Social Development Agency under the third cycle of the NG -CARES program to disburse the sum of Three Billion, Three Hundred and Five Million, Fourty Thousand Naira (₦3,305,40,000.00) is to be disbursed to 245 vulnerable Communities/groups across the State.
The General Manager of the agency, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Nakwada has disclosed during the pre.projects implementation training to 245 Community project Management Committees held In Gusau, the State capital.
According to him, the program was part of the Agency’s efforts to support the Poor and Vulnerable/groups Community to eradicate poverty in the Area of Health, Education,Water, Sanitation, nutrition and environment.
He added that the Training is to sanitize the participants their responsibility for monitoring the projects in their respective localities.
“Agency would ensure prompt monitoring of the projects under it’s jurisdiction, and for the Communities to ensure proper record of their projects transaction”. He said
According to him, the beneficiaries must abide by the rules of the project agreement and effective utilisation of fund to be allocated to them.
It could be recall that More than Fifty Communities have recently received Similar training and was allocated the tune of over Seven hundred million Naira to undertake various projects in their respective domains.
This Category of the Community is among four thousand Five Hundred Community designed to benefit with Basic Services projects under NG-CARES Result Area 1 program in Zamfara State.
Papers presented to CPMC by the resource persons are, the Responsibilities of the CPMC in the projects Implementation, Conflicts Management, Environmental Safe guard, Store Management report Writing, purchasing technics, Book keeping and Monitoring and Evaluation.
The training Session followed with questions and answers interaction respectively.
