Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has expressed regret over the death of Barrister Murna Makwashi, the former Chairperson of Shanga Local Government Area.
The Governor is been accompanied by Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi), Chief of Staff Government House Birnin Kebbi, Babale Umar Yauri, Secretary to the State Government, and the Honorable. Barrister Attahiru Maccido, Commissioner for Special Duties, was at the late Murna Makwashi’s residence in Gesse Phase 2 to express his condolences to his family, relatives, and friends.
Senator Bagudu described the demise of Barrister Murna Makwashi as shocking and prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Barrister Murna Makwashi died at the age of 68 on Sunday after a protracted illness at the Usmanu Dan Fodio Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
Murna Makwashi, the late, also worked for the Due Process Office in Birnin Kebbi, the Law Reform Commission in Abuja, and the Kebbi State Judiciary.
