Badaru hails Deputy Senate President Omo-Agege at 58
Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, MON, Mni, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, has congratulated Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy President of the Senate, on his 58th birthday.
Senator Omo-life, Agege’s according to Badaru, has been marked by impactful legislation for Nigeria and high-quality representation for his constituents.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Print Media, Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, Governor Abubakar noted that the Deputy Senate President virtues, tenacity, courage of conviction, and patriotism have aided tremendously in the solidification of lawmaking in Nigeria particularly in the Constitution Review committee he headed.
According to Badaru, Ovie is an icon of democracy and a legendary figure in the struggle to establish democratic governance in Nigeria.
Badaru said: “we celebrate him as one of the major political leaders in APC with the superlative party and legislative milestones.” The Governor of Jigawa prayed to Almighty God to grant the Deputy Senate President many more years of good health so that he can continue to serve the legislature and the country.
