Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has unveiled a generous Sallah package to uplift the spirits and alleviate financial burden during the Eid-l-Kabir Celebration.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed said the gesture was aimed making the state workers to celebrate the annual festivities with their beloved ones hitch free. He added that Governor Radda has approved a remarkable financial assistance programme.
Each dedicated employee of the State Unified Local Government Service and the Local Education Authorities will receive a substantial sum of N45,000, consisting of a loan/advance of N30,000 and a magnanimous free from repayment Sallah package of N15,000.
The loan/advance component amounting to N30,000, will be conveniently repaid over the course of three months — July, August and September — with a monthly installment of N10,000.
Reacting to the compassionate initiative by Governor Radda, the Katsina State Head of Service, Malam Falalu Bawale expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Governor’s thoughtful gesture.
Adding that the financial assistance will undoubtedly bring relief to numerous households, enabling them to celebrate joyous occasion of Eid.
