Kogi is Secured Under GYB – Asuku

HOTPEN – Chief of Staff to Kogi state Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jami’u Asuku has described his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello as the architect of peace restoration in the state, saying Kogi is secured under his reign.
Pharmacist Asuku who spoke via WhatsApp vedio call to a cross section of intellectuals drawn across various sectors said the state has before now bedevilled with challenges ranging from banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery, adding that the coming of Yahaya Bello as elected governor of Kogi altered the equation in favour of peace.
The Chief of Staff further explained that security is part of his boss achievements in office as he stressed that Kogite and their neighbours are living witnesses to this giant strides.
He said that his principal engaged the services of 150,000 vigilante personnel, purchased security gadgets as well as community policing among others as part of measures adopted to arrest the challenges.
His words:-“Before Yahaya Bello emerged as Kogi state Governor people of the state had a sleepless night for fear of attack, as kidnapping and armed robbery have become order of the time, it can happened three times a day within the state capital, but now people go on their normal businesses without fear”.
He said these litany of achievements perhaps explained why Nigerians are now calling on him to contest for the office of President comes 2023 to replicate similar record at the national level.
