The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in his desperation move to wins the next general elections, has deployed hundreds of Tricycles Operators For Door To Door Campaigns movements.
Hotpen reports that, the Tricycles Operators who were recruited in Kano are set to uses Atiku Abubakar Campaign banners on their machines and they would as from time to time playing the PDP Presidential Candidate jingles while carrying passengers.
The Director General, Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Baraka Sani, who was the brain behind the strategy, told Newsmen in Kano that the aim was to bring the Tricycles Operators as part of the PDP Campaign trails for their Economic benefits.
Dr Baraka Sani, explained that they decided to uses the Tricycles Operators so that in turned they would bring in their families, relations and even their Passengers into the Atiku Campaign trails.
“However, you should know that we are not just using and dumping the Tricycles Operators now, after we wins we have a strong measures that we will use to have same People’s benefitting from the government.
“You know Atiku Abubakar has promise’s to secure $10 Billion for Youths, Women economic development and in this context, the Tricycles Operators would hugely benefits from gesture”. She added.
Speaking, a Tricycle operator who was brought in to participate in the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign trails, Mallam Nura Tanko, said, all his life has been a PDP member, saying this is just like a rewards for his long time loyalty to the party.
He said, “we are going to mobilize ourselves to ensure that we vigorously Campaign for Atiku Abubakar in Kano and some part of Northern Nigeria until he wins”, Tanko assured.
