Suspected hoodlums Terrorizing Customers and Commuters in Bauchi, Arrested

Twenty one hoodlums have been arrested by the Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency for terrorizing Customers and Commuters at Wunti Market Bauchi.
Briefing journalist in Bauchi Commandant General of the agency Umar Aliyu Shayi, explained that the Suspected hoodlums, were initially denied access to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, venue of the PDP Presidential Really,but took advantage of the Market to Carry out Criminal acts on innocent citizens.
According to the Commandant General those arrested were carrying knives, Machetes and other dangerous weapons and will be handed Over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
He assured of the Agency’s determination to complement the efforts of the police towards fighting crime across the State.
Umar Shayi also reiterated the readiness of the agency towards initiates empowerment programmes aimed at taking youth off criminal activities, While calling on Major stakeholders in the society for their support in order to achieve the desired of a crime free society.
