Newly elected Senator, Jigawa North West Senatorial District, Alhaji Babangida Hussaini (Walin Kazaure) has assured his constituents of his total commitments towards improving their living standards.
Walin Kazaure dropped the hints shortly after he was declared winner as the Senator Jigawa North West in the 2023 general elections held across the existing 12 local government areas of the district by the Returning Officer Professor Ahmed Baita Garko at the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Gumel.
According to the newly elected Senator Walin Kazaure, he was quite aware with the numerous challenges facing his constituents, he pledged to do his possible best to bring the much needed development in the 12 LGA’s especially in the area of massive infrastructural and human development as well as empowerment.
Babangida Hussaini assured the people of his constituency of better and qualitative representation better than before, appreciated their total support and understanding during his campaign and in the process of electing him as their Senator.
His words:- ‘I want to assure you that I remain indebted to your support in making me victorious during my election as your Senator, I will make sure you reap the dividend of democracy better than before”.
Other areas, Walin Kazaure pledged to focus includes youth and women hrough series of empowerment programs among others, he lauded INEC for conducting hitch free exercise, “the introduction of BVAS has positively assisted in the smooth conduct of the general elections”. He noted.
Walin Kazaure also called on his constituents and other people across the state and beyond to come out enmass on the 11th March, this year and cast their votes to the APC gubernatorial candidate, Mal. Umar Namadi Danmodi and state assembly candidates of the ruling party for continuity and progress of the party.
Hotpen reports that Babangida Hussaini was declared winner as the Senator Representing Jigawa North West under APC having scored the highest number of votes 187,049 defeating his six opponents including the former governor of Jigawa state Senator Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of PDP who scored 134,199 votes.
