The elected Senator Representing Jigawa North West Senatorial District, Babangida Hussaini has provided free medication and mosquito nets to no fewer than 1,000 people in Maigatari local government area of Jigawa state.
The gesture was part of Senator Babangida’s continued efforts to boost health care service delivery under his community development medical outreach across his senatorial district.
Dr. Musa AbdurRahaman Hassan told Hotpen in Maigatari, said thousands of vulnerable people are provided with free medication sponsored by Senator Babangida Hussaini, added that “the medical team are in Maigatari to provide free medicare to the vulnerable in Maigatari rural communities”.
The medical outreach has treated thousands of aged men, women, artisans and physically- challenged patients drawn across the local government, noted that the components of the medical outreach includes free medical checkup, free eye check, free surgery and health counselling.
Some of the beneficiaries interviewed expressed gratitude to the Senator elect, Dr. Babangida Hussaini for rendering selfless service to humanity, applauded him for including health sector among his top priorities.
Hotpen reports that, apart from community development medical outreach services initiated by, Senator Babangida, he equally provided hospital equipment, free drugs and employing the service of qualified medical Doctors for the program.
Senator Babangida Hussaini was represented by Member representing Gumel, Suletankarkar, Gagarawa and Maigatari federal constituency, Hon. Nazifi Sani Gumel, Alhaji Abdullahi Mende-Mende, Hon. Murtala Ayaga among others.
