The Action Peoples Party APP in Zamfara state has reputed the speculation making round that the party had earlier printed large number of agents card in respect of March 18 governorship election in the state.
Hon Zayyanu Salisu Haske, a governorship candidate under the Action Peoples Party APP, in Zamfara state has said in an interview with newsmen in Gusau Saturday.
Hon. Haske described the speculation as uncalled for, stressing that those accusing the APP on the matter are doing so just to damage the image and popularity of the party in the state.
According to him, already the matter has been reported to the police for necessary action.
“I heard about the speculation that APP in the state had printed large number of agents cards said to be distributed to it’s members during the upcoming governorship election in the state but I have already reported to police for urgent step to be taking and arrest the culprits “. Hon. Haske stated
On the speculation that he is preparing to make an alliance with other political party in the upcoming governorship election, Hon. Zayyanu Haske debunked the allegation, stressing that he is still gubernatorial candidate of All Peoples Party APP in Zamfara state.
He described the speculation as baseless and rootless,” As I am speaking to you, I never think of alliance with any political party in the next 18th of March governorship and states assembly election and I prepared to get even one single vote than to make alliance with any political party in the state “. Haske stated
He called on members and supporters of APP in Zamfara state to remain law abiding citizens especially juring election and beyond, for the victory of the party next election.
