
Governor Bello Matawalle

The National Youths Council of Nigeria, (NYCN), Zamfara State Chapter has anointed Zamfara state governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of APC to be reelected for second term next Saturday governorship and states assembly election in the country.
This was made known by the state chairman of the group, Barr. Bashar Garba at a press conference held at Zamfara NUJ Press Center in Gusau Thursday.
According to him, the endorsement of governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle to be reelected for second by the group was as a the good leadership style of government of youth inclusiveness demonstrated by Governor of Zamfara State Bello Muhammad Matawallen.
“Indeed governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has provided opportunies for youths in the State to partake in every aspect of decision making process in the State, by appointing Honourable Commissioners, Special Advisers, Directors-General, Permanent and Part-time Commissioners/Members of Statutory Commissions, Boards and Agencies, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants”.
The NYCN commended Zamfara state governor for recruiting over 5,000 civil servants in the workforce of Zamfara State Government.
“Indeed Governor Matawallen Maradun has done what no Governor in Nigeria did by involving youths to fully participate in the governance of their State and by placing their future in their hands and we call on all youths to support the candidature of Governor Bello Matawalle as we believe his support for youths and youth driven initiatives is a starting point of many programs he has for the youths in Zamfara State”. The chairman also enjoined all youths to support the candidature of Governor Bello Matawalle for his second term.
The group also felicitated the president elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shatima for their victory during the last presidential election in the country.
“Your victory at the polls has indeed signified the confidence that the Nigerian youths have on you and how they believe in your manifested strategies of transforming the youths as the country’s top assets”.
The group also commended Security Agencies in Zamfara state in ensuring peaceful conduct of presidential and National Assembly elections.
