My fellow Kanawa, Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
I stand before you today with a deep sense of gratitude and humility as your newly elected governor under the New Nigeria People party. I am humbled by your trust and confidence in me and I pledge to work tirelessly to build a brighter future for all of us.
I want to express my sincere thanks to the members of my party for their unwavering support throughout this election campaign. I also want to thank the electoral commission and the security agencies for ensuring a free, fair, and peaceful election.
To the oppositions, we have no personal grudges against anyone. We will to bring life-changing initiatives that will touch everyone irrespective of their political affiliation.
I want to highlight the key areas that will be the focus of my administration in the coming years.
Firstly, we will prioritize quality education and healthcare for all citizens of Kano state. We believe that every citizen deserves access to quality education and healthcare services, and we will work to ensure that our people have access to world-class facilities and training.
Secondly, we recognize the importance of investing in infrastructure to drive economic growth and development. We will prioritize the development of modern transportation systems, efficient waste management, and stable power supply. We will also work to improve our road networks, bridges, and other critical infrastructure.
Thirdly, we will work with private sector partners to create sustainable job opportunities for our youth and to provide training programs that equip our citizens with the skills necessary to thrive in the modern economy.
Fourthly, we recognize that security is a non-negotiable priority for our state. We will work closely with security agencies to ensure that Kano state is safe and secure for all our citizens.
Fifthly, good governance is crucial for ensuring that our citizens receive the services they deserve. We will promote transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in all our actions and decisions.
Sixthly, we will work to restore the heritage and image of Kano on the global stage. We will promote our unique culture, history, and arts, and work to attract tourists and investors to our state.
Lastly, we recognize the critical role that technology innovation plays in shaping the future of our state. We will prioritize the development of digital infrastructure, promoting tech entrepreneurship and startups, and working with tech companies to deliver innovative solutions that can enhance the lives of our citizens.
I want to reiterate my commitment to building a brighter future for our children. I am confident that, together, we can achieve our shared vision for a more prosperous, inclusive, and technologically advanced state.
