The Jigawa Agro climate resilience in semi Arid landscape (ACReSAL), world Bank supported project, wishes to rejoice with all Muslim Ummah in the state a peaceful and loving Eid Fitr Celebrations, prays to Allah (SWT) to accept their worship and reward them, use the period to reflect on the purpose and lessons from the blessed month of Ramadan.
The state project
coordinator, Alhaji Yahaya Uba Kafin Gana in his Sallah message stated that, Acresal project is determined to reclaim one million hectares of degraded lands across 19 states in Nigeria, adding that flood, erosion and deforestation Control is one of the focus of the project towards achieving safer environment and improving the socioeconomic lives of the people.
Kafin Gana urged farmers to make early planting as February 2023 report by NIMET predicts early onset of rainfall earlier than the long term average in most part of the country.
The project wished for a greener environment and live saving season.
