Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the release the sum of N765, 908,545, 85 for the final payment of plan work based projects across the 17 Local Government Area of the State.
In a statement signed by A. S Mamudo the information officer of the state ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy said that, the Permanent Secretary Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Alhaji Ali Mustapha said, this was done after 60% completion of the work in the 2022 work/ action plan as mentioned before.
According to him this was done after the Committee on Local Government budgets for the year of 2023 which scrutinized and prioritised various developmental projects across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.
The permanent Secretary thanks his Excellency the Executive Governor Mai Mala Buni for the approving the Fund, he assured that, the ministry will monitor and supervising all the projects to ensure quality of it as well as value for money on the projects under reference at large.
