Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir swears-in twenty (20) new local government chairmen and their Deputies, urges them on selfless service and sanction them not to engage in corrupt practices.
The governor charged them to demonstrate their worthiness of their appointments as local government chairmen, deputies and utilize their experience for the progress of Bauchi State.
The swearing-in ceremony took
place at the Multi-purpose indoor Sports Hall on Wednesday in Bauchi, where Senator Bala emphasized the importance of public service and urges them to prioritize the interest of the State over personal ambitions.
He advises the newly appointed Chairmen to work with the fear of God and carries the responsibilities assigned to them for the betterment of the good people of Bauchi State.
Cautioned them to maintain the resources of their various local government area’s carefully looking at the critical condition in the country.
Finally, Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir urges them to work with their deputies, respect traditional leaders, people of the communities and to join hands with securities in order the State to continue living peacefully.
