The Zamfara state government has total decay in the education sector in the state.
The new appointed commissioner of education, science and technical Alh. Wadatau Madawaki stated this in an interview with journalists shortly after the swearing in of 18 commissioners by governor Dauda Lawal Tuesday.
According to him, the ministry of education science and technical under his watch will do everything humanity possible to ensure that the sector has been revamped.
“The level of education particularly basic education has totally collapsed during the fast administration and this government will do the needful to ensure that the education sector has been revamped as soon as possible”. He said
He further stated tha the ministry will give much emphasis on science and technology system of equation in order to enable the next generation become self reliant .
“Adequate measures will be put in place by the state government through my ministry to make sure that modern education system has been revamped particularly on science and technology so as to enable our children become self reliant”. Said Madawaki
On insecurity as a result of banditry in the state which led closure of boarding schools by the previous administration of former governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Madawaki pointed out that, all public schools in the state will be protected by the security agencies to enable students get access to their study.
He appealed to people in the state to give all the necessary cooperation to the state government under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal to enable him meet their lots.
