The Russo/Ukraine war has been raging for 18 months now, and the war seems in abetted, as the world keeps on witnessing the gruesome and grotesque sensationalism as per the caliber of modern arsenals been deployed in the war.
Last month Moscow pulled out of the grains deal, thus making basic grains supplies more dire and their prices spiraling across the globe. To allow the grains sail through the Black Sea is the fundamental issue now at stake.
Recently, the Ukrainian drones hit Russian Airfield, killing four persons. Russia is thus very bitter, and has almost immediately replied with more counter attacks on key Ukrainian targets.
The Russian government is now in deals talks with North Korea for the purchase of super sonic weapons. This is coming at a time when the Wegner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin and nine others were killed in a plane crash in the Russian territory. Putin seems to have retaliated the uprising witnessed from the Wegner mercenaries against Russia in August.
Russia seems to be working round the clock to achieve global influence as well as create a lasting and formidable stand.
Now the US unveils new $250 million military package for Ukraine, making the war more protracted, fierce, brutal and destructive. And this is coming at a time when Russia said it intercepted two US drones near Crimea. This is also a mark of greater war, and a grand design to end Russia’s hegemony in the block.
Recently, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said explosions were recorded in Moscow, Bryansk and Ryazan, as well as Pskov airbase close to Estonian border. The charges and recharges are growing stiffer by the day, as the direly needed Russian and Ukrainian grains became scarce and more expensive.
By and large, Russia will likely have to consider addition of more air defence systems against UAV attacks. This is also coming as the Ukrainian media on Wednesday reported that at least six service men were killed following a separate incident involving two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters in Donetsk.
The Ukrainian drones have hit 6 regions deep inside Russia in one of the largest such strikes since the start of Moscow’s invasion.
Ukraine has also confirmed attacks on targets in the Pskov, Bryansk, Kaluga, Orlov, Ryazan, and Moscow regions. Situated more than 600 KM (400 miles), from Ukraine, it was where a number of elite paratroopers are stationed. At least 4 giant 11-76 transport planes were seriously damaged.
As the attacks and counter attacks become more fierce and damning; the collateral damages keep on rising, and the world keeps on helplessly and pathetically crippled and bankrupt socially and economically.
