The famous Bayero University, Kano Alumni Association, (BUKAA), has invited it’s members to the scheduled 2023 AGM and Convention coming up on Saturday, 16th December, 2023 by 9am to 5pm.
Announcement by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Association, Professor Nasirudeen Usman (mni) says, the AGM/Convention will hold at the institution’s Convocation Arena, BUK new Campus, Gwarzo road, Kano.
The announcement said, the Chief Host is the Governor of Kano state, Alhaji Abba Kabiru Yusuf while the Special Guest of Honour is the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin.
Royal father of the day is His Majesty, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
Keynote speaker is the Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, while Chairman of the occasion is a former Executive Vice Chairman, NCC, Professor Umar Garba Dambatta.
The host of the occasion is the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas.
Meanwhile, the announcement has urged all true sons and daughters of BUK to attend the function and advised them to invite their friends, class mates as well as mentors to attend.
The announcement further advised everyone not to be left out of the great reunion of BUK which was established in 1962.
