join million of peaple and extended his heartfelt condolence to the Governor of Kaduna state on the untimely death of morethan 100 people who got killed in a bomb attack at Tudun biri, Igabi local Government of Kaduna State.
In a statement signed and made available to Hotpen by the Personal Assistant, to the former governor, Ahmad Yahaya D, Attahiru Bafarawa said in a situation of this nature where such a large number of people were killed during the performance of their religious rites, in such a gruesome manner through no fault of theirs, calls for solemn reflection and indeed deep mourning.
“No doubt the executive Governor, people of Kaduna State and particularly the residents of Tudun Biri village must have been profoundly aggrieved an extremely saddened by this apparent action by the Nigerian Army which honourably claimed responsibility asserting that the attack was a tactical error at any rate as has seen the attack was not only condemned in Nigeria but also far and wide across the globe calling on Federal Government to institute a committee to investigate this serious matter.
“While millions of people have not only condemned this dastardly act they also use many means necessary to extend their condolence to the people of Kaduna State in general of which the Former Governor after condemning the act at many fronts since the incident happened, find it most expedient to send his personal Adviser on Media, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi to deliver his letter of condolence to the Governor.
“Kindly accept His Excellency’s heartfelt Condolence and at the same time wishing you and the people of Kaduna State the fortitude to bear this great lose and pray to almighty to forgive those who lost their lives and also give succour to, especially those who are receiving medical treatment.
“Accept His Excellency’s best regards and esteemed consideration at all the time”. The statement added.
