The All Progressives Congress (APC) Sokoto state Chapter has at a press conference on Friday X-rays the stewardship of Governor Ahmed Aliyu in the last seven months of his administration.
The state Chairman of the party, Hon. Isa Sadeeq Achida (Turakun Achuda) in company of the state party executives said, Governor Aliyu performance in the last seven months was unpresidented and has surprised many who tried to judge him by his age.
He said the Governor at his 54 years of age has vindicated the party due to his track record of Achievements within the last seven months of his administration, saying that, the state has witnessed a transformation worthy of emulation by other state Governors.
“The occasion of the Governor’s 54th birthday provides a golden opportunity for us in the state APC to appreciate the excellent stewardship which we have been longing for quite a long time to celebrate.”
“Within a short period, the governor has improved, sanitation in the township, steady water supply, provide Solar powered street lights, rehabilitation of schools, Hospitals as well as provision of social intervention to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal .
“You have prove the cynics wrong by being constantly around the state and in touch with your people and attending to their needs, rather than shuttling from local to foreign destinations, becoming an absentee Governor”.
“You have proven your commitment to securing the state, through collaboration and cooperation with the security Agencies and provision of the right caliber of vehicles which has since started yielding positive results.”
“The Governor’s Initiative of enacting a law for the establishment of Community Guards is another giant stride to bring an end to Banditry and enthroned a secure and peaceful Sokoto state within the year 2024.”
“It’s on record that the state government is building a 500 housing units in Wajeke , Wamakko local government, a project that has reached advance stage of completion with countless number of inherited uncomplicated projects of the immediate past administration”.
“While the APC family celebrates our Governor at 54 we also congratulate other citizens of the state for having a committed and patriotic number one citizen, we are willing to give you all support and cooperation you desire to take the state to a next level. Says APC Chairman.
