The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Yobe State council has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration for development across all sectors in the state Particularly In Education sector.
In a press brief by Chairman of the council, Comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail, particularly on the recent tour undertaken by the union to observe efforts of the state and local governments towards improving the lives of citizens said that, the tour afforded them an opportunity to see for themselves the efforts of the state and local government council and the improvement of the lives of the people under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni respectively.
The Chairman has mentioned some of the projects seen on ground during the tour by journalists to include excellent transformation in education particularly and other sectors.
According to him, an effort to improve education sectors, following brilliant performance of Yobe students during the NECO, WAEC and NABTEB examinations in the state.
Also the governor Buni effort to improve health sector he established about 140 primary healthcare centres which brought effective and very efficient healthcare services to the entire state.
Comred Rajab Muhammad of the NUJ commended the Buni-led administration for paying examination fees and professional bodies registration fees like those of the Nigerian Law School, ANAN which recently paid them there professional fees and other fees for the state students studies in and outside the country.
“Obviously the Governor, he really make a very Weldon jobs to entire state.”
