……..Hails Almuhibba Foundation’s efforts on women empowerment

The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau on Saturday congratulated the state’s first lady, Hajia Aisha Bala Mohammed on the remarkable achievements recorded by her pet project, Almuhibba Foundation in the area of women empowerment.
Auwal Jatau was speaking at the 1st Daughters of the Soil Day Empowerment and Award presentation by Almuhibba Foundation, Toro Local Government chapter and applauded the chapter for organizing the remarkable event.
Represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer Mohammed Haruna Barde, he noted that the initiative truly reflects the tireless efforts put forth by the founder of the Almuhibba Foundation, who has championed numerous task of addressing the challenges facing women in the state through empowering women.
The Deputy Governor said the vision of the foundation aligns perfectly with the values and aspirations of the Governor Bala Mohammed led administration and believed that empowering women and giving them equal opportunities is pivotal for the progress of the society.
“As we gather here today, it is essential that we recognize the immense potential that lies within our daughters. They are the embodiment of resilience, strength, and intelligence. They have proven themselves time and again, in various fields, both locally and internationally. Yet, we must acknowledge that there are still countless daughters who face challenges that hinder their growth and advancements.
“To address this, we must ensure that our daughters have access to quality education. Education is a powerful tool that can break down barriers and lead to personal and societal advancement. To achieve this, as a Government, we would continue to invest in infrastructure, provide scholarships, and support programs that eliminate the barriers preventing our daughters from attaining educational success.
“Today’s occasion is not solely about empowerment but also about recognizing and celebrating the achievements of exceptional daughters of Bauchi state. The awards being presented symbolize our appreciation for their dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievements. These women are role models who have broken barriers and shattered glass ceilings. Their stories should inspire all of us to dream big, work harder, and never settle for less.”
Auwal Jatau then pledged the unwavering commitment of the present administration towards providing economic opportunities for women as Bauchi state is rich in resources and untapped opportunities, which can be harnessed to create a thriving economy that benefits everyone.
