The House of Representatives Member representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has sponsored a Special Medical Outreach to treat Ear, Nose and Throat E.N.T cases within Bungudu and Maru Local Government areas to 507 patients.

Technical Assistant Strategy, Media and Communications to the office of the Hon. Member made this known in a press statement made available to Hotpen in Gusau Wednesday.
According to the statement, the program sponsored by the Federal Lawmaker was in collaboration with the consulting firm “SUBEEY AUDIOLOGY CLINIC” Fadama Plaza Gusau.
Recalled that Hon. Zannan Bungudu had in recent past partnered with the National Headquarters of Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria IMAN and sponsored a medical outreach where over 1600 patients with different ailments including surgical cases were treated free of charge.
The statement pointed out that the E.N.T outreach conducted in both Bungudu and Maru LGAs from Tuesday 5th to Wednesday 6th March 2024, involved diagnosis, treatment, distribution of drugs, referrals and provision of hearing-aid facilities.
“The idea to initiate the programme was to relieve households of expenses related to medical cases at the period when people find it difficult to shoulder their personal and family responsibilities.” He said.
“I find it worthwhile to partner with governmental and non governmental organizations in assisting my people to access their individual and family health needs with relative ease in view of the prevailing economic hardship they faces” Hon. Zubairu added.
“Our representation would continue to explore ways of providing relief to constituents” Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu said.
