The Chairman of Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State, Hon. Ibrahim Babagana, has distributed about 600 bags of grains to Ten wards across the local government council to cushion suffering among residents.
Speaking to Journalists in his Office, he stated that, palliative distribution underscores the chairman’s commitment to supporting the vulnerables Muslim Ummah community during this sacred period.
According to him, the objectives of the gesture was to Alleviate the Sufferings of their people at this current economic challenge.
He said, the collaboration with the community leaders and politicians to ensures the equitable distribution of essential food items to those in need across Bade Local Government Area.
He described that, Governor Mai mala Buni, Party leaders were concerned with the current economic challenges, saying, that was the reason behind distribution of the palliative.
He added that, in line with the Governor’s directive to ensure that, the vulnerable people of the society have access to essential food items during this month of Ramadan.
Ibrahim ensure that, this gesture of Palliative is been sustain to be use as a means that will substantially cushions the effect of economic hardship which though is temporary and will be soon over with the Governor Mai mala Buni efforts in tackling the harsh reforms outcomes.
The Council Chairman and his local team at the local government were said to have gone around the community to distribute the palliative to residents.
The beneficiaries of the palliatives were drawn from every part of the ten wards across the local government area, the local government has mobilized resources to provide support to this.
“We are committed to ensuring that the people of Bade have access to basic necessities during this difficult period, and we are grateful for the support and guidance of Governor Mai Mala Buni in this endeavor” said Babagana.
He urged everyone to continue giving their support and maximum cooperation to the present administration of Mai Mala Buni to move the state forward
Hon also called on the beneficiaries to ensure utilized the food items given to them to reduce suffering.
