The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa local government of Kano State has vehemently condemned the purported suspension of the National Chairman of APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from the party.
In a joint press conference by APC Ganduje ward executives and Dawakin Tofa local government executive members, said the unfortunate action was financed by unscrupulous elements and non card carrying members of the party in the ward aimed to dimish the image of the political icon in person of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
The dou in the statement which was signed by the chairman, APC Ganduje ward, Ahmed Mohammed Koko explained that “Those who addressed the press conference were sponsored by the NNPP state government, and from the record of the Party at the ward , local government and state, are not card carrying members of APC”.
He further explained that the purported suspension of National Chairman of APC. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from the party was null and void and will have no any effect to him, added that it was done to tarnish his reputation and it will not work.
“The ward and local government executives having identified the persons involved in this unfortunate situation, have already prepared to charge them to court for impersonation and calculated attempt to embrass and dent the image of APC and its National Chairman”. The statement noted.
Alhaji Koko in a statement called on all party members to disregard the purported suspension and remain calm, stressed that the 27 exco members are together and have distanced themselves from the negative threat.
