Nineteen All Progressive Congress APC Members out of twenty seven of Galadima ward in Gusau the Zamfara state Capital have passed vote of confidence on the state chairman of the party Hon Tukur Danfulani.
Danfulani was suspended by the exco of the party in a letter dated 15th May, 2024 and addressed to the national chairman of the party signed by the vice chairman of the party in Galadima ward Alh. Garba Bello where the chairman came from.
The Galadima ward chairman Sani Ibrahim made the disclosure to newsmen shortly presenting their formal letter to Gusau local government APC Chairman at the party state Headquarters in Gusau Thursday.
According to him, nineteen executive was authoritatively signed the letter, described the suspension of the chairman as illegal, null and void.
According to him, the nineteen members unanimously recognized the leadership of the chairman and his executive members, adding that they will remain law abiding and respect the correspondence and guiding constitution of the party.
“We all passed vote of confidence on the state APC Chairman Hon Tukur Danfulani and we remained loyal to his leadership and respect the correspondence and guiding constitution of our great party”. He said.
He called on members and supporters of the party in the state to disregard the purported suspension of the state party chairman Hon Tukur Danfulani.
He also stated that the perpetrators will be dealt with in accordance with the constitution of the party in the state.
