The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has told the government and people of Katsina state that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to do his best to secure Nigeria from all forms of insecurity threats.
The Minister stated this when he paid a courtesy call to the Governor of Katsina State, Alh. Dikko Umar Radda at Government House Katsina as part of his official working visit to military formations in Katsina State.
In a statement signed and made available to Hotpen by PA Media & Publicity to the Minister, Mati Ali, said on arrival Badaru Abubakar was received by the Deputy Governor of the State, Alh. Farouk Jobe, explained the President and Commander in Chief is fully committed to crush and end all forms of insecurity Nationwide.
He told the Governor that he came to Katsina State to visit troops in their formations in the state, assess their operational modalities and see how best to encourage them.
Badaru Abubakar pointing out that in view of the approaching rainy farming season there was need to put all hands together to make sure Farmers feel free to farm and are not threaten by bandits.
The Minister explained the Ministry of Defence together with other Federal government defence related agencies Partner with Katsina state Government to end insecurty in the state.
In his response, the Deputy Governor of the state, Alh. Faruk Lawan on behalf of the state Governor extented his appreciation to the Ministry of Defence for its tireless and enduring support to Katsina state to end its insecurty.
He explained that the visit of the Minister to the state came at the time of need at this critical time when people are getting ready to be in farms.
