Mohammed Babayola Isah, the former Director General of the Gombe State Due Process Office, has recently transitioned into a new role as the Director General of Gombe International Airport.
During his tenure at the Due Process Office, Isah was celebrated for his unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.
His efforts earned him several notable accolades, including the UN-POLAC Peace Advocate Award and the Corporate Ethics and Integrity Compliance Award.
Under his leadership, the Gombe Due Process Office became one of Nigeria’s leading public procurement agencies, praised for its diligence in upholding ethical standards and ensuring transparent government procurement processes.
Isah takes over from Engr. Mohammed Dauda Abubakar, the former head of the airport, following significant changes implemented by Governor Inuwa Yahaya.
Isah was widely recognised during his four-year service at the Due Process Bureau for his integrity and dedication, with Governor Yahaya awarding him a commendation letter in 2022.
In his new role at Gombe International Airport, Isah is expected to bring about transformative changes by applying his extensive administrative and financial expertise.
His reassignment is viewed as a strategic move, with the airport set to benefit greatly from his leadership and vision.
