Crude Oil Theft: AYA Passes Vote of Confidence on Private Security Firm

HOTPEN – A Northern group, Arewa Youth Assembly (AYA) have joined Niger Delta counterparts in passing a vote of confidence on the management of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited, a private security firm for its commitment towards securing and protecting pipeline in the riched oil Niger-Delta region which according to them, led to the boost in oil production in Nigeria
This was made known to newsmen by the Publicity Secretary of the group, Aliyu Mohammed in Kaduna.
He said “The commendation was in recognition of their role in boosting Nigeria’s economy as well as creating job opportunities for the teaming youths and critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
The company under President Buhari’s led federal government has done well in the sustenance of the current surveillance and security contract of pipelines in the Niger Delta region.
According to the statement, Ocean Marine Solutions Limited’s achievements are the reason Arewa Youth Assembly deemed it necessary to identify with their counterparts in the Niger Delta region.
The statement noted that “pipelines vandalism, crude oil theft, and frequent hostility by the host communities are now becoming history in the region.
He reiterated that the region is now secured and is more way environmentally friendly especially in areas where Ocean Marine Solutions Limited operates”.
He added that “The barrel of crude oil and gas produced per day and their attendant revenues generated for the federal government and other tiers of government has geometrically increased”.
The group thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and the top management team of the NNPC for their foresight in confiding on Ocean Marine Solutions.
