HOTPEN – The benefits of a long term planning always last longer because only beautiful destinations attract trekkable distances no matter the difficulties. A warrior whose sword always changes the battle line, push the enemies behind and leads the war to victory deserves to make a choice, to choose a befitting reward of his imminent demand.
A rare gem in the history of Nigeria’s politics that overpowered my pen in penning down how exact the personality of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is, the ‘Jagaban’. A farmer that sowed beneficial seeds always laugh beautifully at the end of the harvesting season. Ahmed Bola Tinubu is indeed a political immortality that reap.
He is a politician with a leadership qualities that won a respectful recognition of the entire south-west region not by political witch-hunting, intimidation or dictatorial manipulation, but through the person’s personality, the kindest of kindness, a comforted concern and a disciplinary training like that of a father to his children.
Jagaban is the true reflection of an adage of ‘forward ever, backward never’ ideology. His steps into politics remained a pilot with a victorious conquering siren till date. His current opponents in the presidential race may be regarded as his mates politically but in a real sense there is no parameter of tempering such comparison. Their political domination, relevance and recognition are tightly limited only within their domain, if any at all because many of them suffered a significant failures in their efforts to instill some aspirants of their choices including governorship candidates and ended with an empty dreams of clinching the top table of political god-fatherism inconclusively.
Successful journeys are ones that are well planned and adequately prepared long ahead of time. Drives and zoom-up journeys always failed to see the lights of their desired destinations and ended up in the jaws of towing back support. Positive imaginations and ability to foresight is imminent in leadership qualities. Jagaban is naturally blessed in futuristic political articulation. He is a kind of warrior that keeps a gradual conquering of regions that matters at a crucial time of demand.
Nevertheless, beside the 22 states that are under the absolute control of the ruling party (APC) even if His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not stand up and demand a return of his habitually political philanthropic gestures he extended to some state governors, the lower and the red chambers in the national assembly, including the presidency, I believe, a considerable human mentality will suggest a ‘one good turn deserves another’. Jagaban’s habitual political gestures has gone beyond any breakable barrier.
Indications has shown that, Kano State, being the centre of not only ‘commerce’ but politics and politics of the whole Nigerian state will be massively delivered to Jagaban in the forthcoming presidential election, His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR was seen busy and highly committed more than when he was struggling for his governorship ambition, coordinating, organizing, supervising and strategizing in ensuring that majority of Kano’s votes were casted in favour of Jagaban come 2023 general elections.
Harmonizing the currently available presidential election’s hypothesis on the ground, it will be absolutely shockingly surprising if Jagaban looses and not at all if he wins. All I am seeing for Jagaban is nothing but a President-in-waiting. I am a muslim, I believe it is only the Almighty Allah that gives and take at His wills. Though, I am not intimidating any presidential aspirant but, perhaps, nailing what they knew better than I do. I am only advising an antelope not to draw a battle line with a lion and hippo not to compete with a camel in a desert race.
For Nigerians to positively forecast and sieve the best among our presidential contestants we have to digest to understand that, definitely, there is something special, worthy of appreciation from a leader that remained respectfully recognized by his people, his state and his region and for our teaming Hausa brothers and sisters to pay back the support accorded to one of us at a time we needed that the most by this Yoruba icon.
