Former Jigawa APC Women Leader, Hajia Hauwa Yusuf Gumel has denied romour going round that she decamped to the opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP.
The Special Assistant on Media Content Development to the Jigawa State Governor, Malam Habibu Mohammed Ringim disclosed this in a Political Program aired by some Private Radio Stations monitored by Hotpen over the weekend.
Habibu Ringim explained that the ex-women leader denies romour of defection to PDP, as she was deceived by some unscrupulous and selfish politicians who took her to the Jigawa PDP gubernatorial candidate Mustapha Sule Lamido when he visited Gumel unknown to her they are going to spread the snapped pictures and tell the world that she decamped from APC to PDP using the pictures.
Hotpen reports that the Ex-Jigawa APC women leader’ s picture went viral in social media along side with PDP gubernatorial candidate, Mustapha Lamido and some media reported that he joined the PDP.
The S. A. Media Content Development stated further that, how can Hauwa Gumel, who happened to be in the list of Tinubu Campaign Council and a women of prudent Integrity in APC, Jigawa and national at large will rubbish herself by joining the opposition PDP in the state?.
He explained that it was the handiwork of some mischievous and unpatriotic politicians who want to collect money from the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate considering her relevant and political antecedent in Gumel and Jigawa.
Habibu however warned such politicians to desist from such acts or face the full wrath of the law, added that APC remains the strongest and vibrant party in Nigeria and will defeat PDP in the 2023 general elections.
Hajia Hauwa Gumel visited Governor Muhammad Badaru at government house Dutse on Friday and apologized for the spread false romour and reiterated her commitment to the present administration of APC both in Jigawa and National at large.
