Jigawa state governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has expressed his happiness on the massive voters turnout and peaceful conduct of the ongoing presidential senatorial and House of representative election in the state.
The Governor stated this shortly after he casted his vote at his polling Unit Babura Central Primary School 001.
He also noted, that, they recieved reports on some mino technical problem developed by BVAS at some poling units which has already been addressed and the exercise is going on smoothly.
Governor Badaru who expressed confidence for APC victory in the election also called on the people of the state to maintain peace and order as they are exercising their civic responsibility of choosing their leaders.
Similarly, the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidates in the stata, Malam Umar Namadi casted his vote at 012 Imam Hassan Islamiyya Kafin Hausa.
The former Jigawa state governor Alhaji Sule Lamido and his son the PDP gubernatorial candidates Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido have equally casted their votes at their polling unit in Bamaina town, expressing their hope for PDP to win the election and take over the nation for peace and progress.
Report from across the state revealed that, the exercise is going on peacefully as people keep going to the polling units to casting their votes.
