Former Zamfara state governor Abdulaziz Yari and senatorial candidate under the All Progressive Congress APC representing Zamfara west senatorial zone casted his vote at Yalwa 046 polling unit in his home town, Talata Mafara the headquarters of Talata Mafara local government at around 12:00 pm.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after casting his vote, Abdulaziz Yari expressed satisfaction with the level of voters turn out at his polling unit.
He commended security agencies for the tightening security during election not only in his home town but entire 14 local government areas in Zamfara state.
He expressed optimism on the speed of Bimodal voting accreditation system and accreditation exercise which he said, it would go along way in completion of the election exercise as scheduled.
Yari called on his supporters to vote wisely of their choice and shun any forms of causing unrest during election in the state.
