Only Allah takes power from whom he wishes – Mahmud Gaya

Member Representing Gaya/Ajingi/Albasu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has said he felt honored and grateful to have the chance to represent the peoples of the three local government area in the House of Representatives for two consecutive terms, saying he represented the constituency to his best ability with social and infrastructural development across the area.
This is was made known in a press release issued to media outlets in Kano, signed by Senior Legislative Aide Ibrahim Umar.
Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya explained that In the last eight years he was able to established a legacy of dividends of democracy from Eighth to Ninth National Assembly as available indices showed that he performed better, adding that despite the outcome of the elections still we can continue celebrating emerging developments made across area rather than mourning.
Hon. Gaya explained that as a muslim we all knew that only God, give sovereignty to whom He will and He take sovereignty from whom he will; Goodness is in Allah’s hand we can’t do anything. Likewise as If Allah’s touches people with a hardship, none can relieve it except He. And when He blesses peoples, no force can prevent His grace. He bestows it upon whomever He chooses from among His servants.
He further said that despite our diverse party affiliations, and regardless of which way electorate voted in the last Saturday, we must remember that we are all sons and daughters of the constituency. If indeed this is the will of the Ajingi, Gaya & Albasu federal constituency People, he stand in deference to electorates will and the result of the elections is an expression of the voice of the people, we must all heed your voice.
Hon Mahmud added to his supporters across the constituency “my time in the parliament has come to an end by June when Tenth National Assembly inaugurated thank you for your support.
“The progress of Ajingi, Gaya & Albasu federal constituency has remain non-negotiable throughout my representation” while urging party supporters not to relent as the party prepare for the gubernatorial elections in the coming days, appeal to all party members to remain one family and unite behind the candidate of the party so that we can continue to move this state forward.
Hon Mahmud Gaya described the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the just-concluded presidential election as the emergence of a true Democrat, who for long fight for the restoration of democracy in the country, is well understood by Nigerians with Jagaban as President-elect, Nigeria will definitely benefit from his wealth of experience for the development of the country.
