Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Agencies have been strongly advised to continue to join hands with the National Hajj. Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, towards achieving a flawless Hajj exercise for the country.
Several times Member in the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board who also served in the National Hajj publicity team in the previous exercise, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Azare gave the advice in an exclusive interview with HOTPEN in Bauchi.
Having gathered years of active performance serving in official Hajj Teams, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Azare sees it imperative that plans and actions betweeen State Agencies and the National Hajj Commission should be harmonized for the usual success to be maintained.
He stressed that the recent call by NAHCON for State Agencies to remain restricted to the official three million Naira as Hajj seat inclusive of Local charges, should be strictly adhered to, to avoid jeorpardising the mission for their intending Pilgrims.
Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim expressed optimism over the level of preparation put in place by the National Hajj Commission in terms of Carrier Airlines; securing of good accommodations in Saudi Arabia and composing competent ad-hoc teams to oversee welfare of Pilgrims from home to Abroad.
He said,”Hajj exercise is having to do with a very large population of Pilgrims, mostly first timers. Without an experienced, competent teams of experts in areas of security; health; education and publicity, Pilgrims cannot perform the Hajj as expected.”
He maintained that NAHCON’s official teams under the Commission’s Head, Zikirullah Kunle Hassan always composes of the right Calibre to discharge their functions accordingly.
