The outgoing speaker for the 9th House of Assembly and a member representing Ningi Central constituency of Bauchi State, Hon. Abubakar Suleiman, has emerged the Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly today, Tuesday in Bauchi.
Hon. Abubakar had emerged unopposed during the election conducted by members of the 10th House of Assembly.
This medium can authoritatively reports that Abubakar Y. Suleiman was the speaker of 9th House of Assembly of Bauchi state, who was elected on the platform of APC and later decamped to Peoples Democratic Party along with other stakeholders in the state.
It would be recalled that Hon. Abubakar during his campaign promised had promised to ensure independence of the paliament as well as reforms when elected.
Hon Abubakar was declared Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly and thereafter administered oaths of office along side some members-elect of the the House of Assembly.
