The incumbent administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is a government which is all out to transform the State to a greater heights through the instrumentalities of democratic principles and democratic participations for the overall development of the State.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser, to the Governor on Publicity, Hon Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta in a chat with media personalities on the occasion of one hundred days of stewardship of Abba Kabir Yusuf as the Governor of the State.
Hon, Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta said the incumbent administration placed high premium in human development hence it prioritize Education, Health, Information, Agriculture and many sectors just to mentioned a few stressing that in just one hundred days of the Governor he had achieved series of developments which touches the lives of the citizens of the State positively .
Hon. Jamilu likewise assured the people of the State that Abba Kabir Yusuf would continue to deliver it’s mandate especially campaign promises with a view to set Kano on a right track as a role model on all matters related to human developments.
He highlighted that within the period under review the Governor had champion the renovation and rehabilitation of Hasiya Bayero Pediatric Hospital, Sponsoring of Kano indigenes to overseas scholarship, renovation of Reformatory Institute Kiru, Series of daily evacuation of refuse to keep Kano clean and healthy, revival of lost glory of Kano master plan give way for constructive and stractural developments as well as his good foresight In careful selection of highly dedicated personalities to served as cabinet members and special advisers to assist the governor in the discharge of his hectic task of moving Kano forwards.
Hon. Jamilu Abubakar similarly said the Government is fully aware of the role of media in keeping the public abreasts hence it places high regards on information flow to and from government to the governed.
He said his office would continue to work hand in hand with all relevant media industries to protect, project and promote the incumbent administration in all facets of human endeavors in the signs of general public both within and outside the State
