The House of Representatives member for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in Zamfara State Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu has donated 50 solar street lights equipments in Nahuche community of Bungudu LGA.
This is contained in a statement made available to Blueprint Weekend signed by the Technical Assistant
Strategy, Media and Communications Office of the Federal Lawmaker Malam Aminu Lawal Friday .
According to the statement, the idea was part of the lawmaker’s agenda of supporting rural infrastructure, improvement of economic activities and provision of security in the major towns of the constituency.
“The fifty units solar street lights equipment were installed on the major streets of Nahuche town, Islamic centres, places of worship and strategic locations”.
The statement contended that places covered by the installation work included; the popular Yarkaita market street to Kasuwa Daji road, Nahuche Primary Health Care street to Yarkaita market through district head palace and Nahuche grave yard street.
“The Strategic places covered by the project are Nahuce health facility, primary and secondary schools, market as well as offices and divisions of security agents working in the community”. The statement reads in part.
Hon. ZUBAIRU urged members of the benefitting community to safeguard and take full ownership of the project, Hon. Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu assured to do more in ensuring that constituents enjoyed the litmus taste of his representations.
