The Kano State government has pledged to renovate Sabon Titin Madobi to Kiru to Yako to Kwanar Dangora in both Kumbotso, Madobi, Bebeji and Kiru local government areas with a view to bring succor to the lives of the people of these communities and that of other road users.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner of Works and Housing Engineer Marwan Mahmoud while inspecting the road along side Member representing Kiru Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Tasi’u Usman Abubakar and other Party officials.
The Commissioner who represented the Executive Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf on a sight visitation to the affected road in Dashi and Zuwo towns of Kiru local government area, stressed that the Executive Governor was deeply worried about the dilapidated conditions of the road which he said the State government would swing into actions in earnest to save the road and communities of the affected areas
He enjoined the people of the area to always rally round the present administration for the execution of more meaningful projects across the state.
In his speech Member, representing Kiru Constituency, Hon Tasi’u Usman Abubakar said the road is of immense important to the lives of the people of Kiru, Madobi, Karaye ,Rogo, Bebeji and Kumbotso Local Government areas stressing that the road is now a death trap to motorists and other road users especially in the night
Hon Tasi’u Usman Abubakar further pointed out that the people of the area are deeply disturbed hence they urged the State government to hastened efforts in addressing the situation.
He thanks The Executive Governor for timely interventions in addressing the situation.
While speaking, Jagora of NNPP in the area Alhaji Bello Aliyu said such powerful delegation by the State Governor is a clear indication and testimony of Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration in moving the State forward and thanks both the Commissioner and the Member representing Kiru Constituency for their deep concern and assured them that Kiru people remain solidly behind Abba Kabir Yusuf Administration and Jagora Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
