The Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Gombe State, Mr. Zubairu Mohammed has reiterated his commitment to support the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command in its efforts to stamp out crimes and all forms of criminalities in the State inline with the provisions of the administration of criminal system.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Buhari Sa’ad Public Relations Officer Gombe state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps and made available to news men in Gombe on Thursday.
The AG said, the visit was necessary because the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps, draws its place in the justice sector and security, he noted that the NSCDC is doing very well in the State and equally promised a robust synergy to enable the Corps to execute its mandate effectively.
He commended the State Commandant for being proactive and professional, which enhanced the security of the State.
In his response, Commandant Muhammed Muazu welcomed the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice to the State Command of the NSCDC, he said it is necessary for NSCDC to collaborate with the state Ministry of Justice to ensure speedy dispensation of justice.
He assured that under his watch, no suspect would be denied of his legal rights within the context of the law and promised to always seek the consent
and permission of the Court where necessary and also sought for greater synergy between the ministry and the Corps.
He commended the Director of Public prosecution (DPP) who was among the AG’s entourage for always helping the Command with its legal needs whenever necessary.
